There's Nothing I Love More

After my last class for the day was finished I went into the class room where I usually have music.
My piano teacher had made the suggestion that I should use the grand piano when I'm practicing, since that can make quite a difference when playing hard pieces. Since I most unfortunately don't have a grand piano at home, I went into the music room and played there for over two hours. It was so peaceful and relaxing and oh, I should do this more often! It was absolutely amazing. I feel like I'm balanced out again, after the past couple of very eventful days. I'm all good now.

So now playing the piano is the one thing where I can get my mind off things, just sway up in my own imagination and dreams, as if I were in the garden of Eden or something. It's incredible how many emotions come up. This is the thing I'm good at, this is my talent, this is where I can impress.
I think it's important that everyone finds what they're good at, what their special gift is... because undoubtedly, everyone's got a talent for something. The tricky thing is just to find out what it is.
And also, it's important to know what calms you down again. If I'm confused or stressed, mad, sad or have any kind of other negative emotions, I play the piano, and the world seems a lot friendlier afterwards.

Bad Grades

I feel like I have reached an all-time low concerning my school grades lately. Most of the tests I've received back recently didn't go so well, failed quite often, so I have to see that I can focus more on the end of year exams and tests so I can compensate it.
No wonder they haven't been turning out so good though, so much has been going on lately, so much drama, so much gossip... But now it's time to push away my social life a little just for the last weeks of school so I can focus on my grades.

This Insane Weekend...

It's been incredible. I did a home party on Friday where I invited 25 people. I was stressed about this party the entire week, since I had never done a house party before and I just had no idea if it was going to turn out well. What if the guests would have gotten bored? What if they wouldn't like it?
I was very concerned. And also, I didn't have any alcohol at home so I asked them to bring it themselves, therefore I was worried that they might not bring enough and then it would all just turn into a flop.
It turned out though that I was worried for no reason. People were enjoying themselves, some were sitting in the garden around the table (especially those who were smokers because I asked everyone specifically not to smoke inside!), some in the kitchen and some in the living room. We had such a good time! I'm not going to go into too many details though what we did (haha trust me, it's better that way), but yeah, jeez...
My house was a mess the next morning but - fuck it, it was awesome! You only turn 17 once!

Yes, I am well aware of that I am quite terrible at keeping my blog updated, but ah, the past few days have just been really stressful.

So, to make it short; I had my birthday on Monday! I turned 17! Gosh, that sounds so old! I remember when I was turning 13 and I thought that people who are 17 are basically already grown-ups. At that time, it seemed so old to me, and I couldn't imagine myself at that age. Well, here I am now.

I don't have school tomorrow nor on Friday, so my long weekend has already started now! Ah, feels good, considering that I had a Math test today which I undoubtedly screwed up completely. Blah. Shit.

Naww this was our doggie last year ago! She turned 1 year on May 27th, so now she's officially not a puppy anymore! Aww Dinaaah.

Spaaa!

I went with my Mom to this Asia Spa in Zurich, and ahh it was amazing! I got a balinesian massage for 75 minutes, and then we went into the sauna area. We got back approximately an hour ago, ate lunch, and now I feel obliged to study for my economy&law test which I have coming up tomorrow. Tonight, I'm going out with my parents for dinner, since it's my birthday tomorrow, and we don't really have time to celebrate it on a Monday.

Yesterday

What's Up

I just got home from Sheila's place, where Naemi and I went for a sleepover.  Yesterday evening, there was this band event in school, and me and some friends had to stand in the bar. It was pretty fun, although I don't think I'd volunteer myself again, haha.
So, today I have to study for my economy&law test that I have coming up on my birthday on Monday!
