Instagram

There's this amazing App for the iPhone called Instagram, and I've totally fallen in love with it. It gave my iPhone a new meaning, haha!
It's this program for your photos where you can choose from filters, and it's really cool. Everyone who has an iPhone and who likes taking pictures with it should have this App.

Tattooed!

Yup, got it right here in the States today! Did it hurt? Not really. Am I satisfied? Definitely!
I know the image quality is quite bad, I'll take some better ones when I have time.
It says "Le temps est maintenant", which means "the time is now" in French.

Back and Leaving Again

Yesterday evening I got back from my driving camp which was a lot of fun. The people were nice and I learned so much during those five days. I didn't get enough sleep though haha, I slept three hours per night at most, and yes, I was ready to die every morning.

Today in the morning, my family and I are taking the car to Munich. We're going to stay at a hotel for one night and then we're flying to Charlotte, NC on Sunday.
I should probably finish packing now, but for that I need to shut down my Mac because I'm going to take it with me to the States.

Yesterday at the Lake

I spent my day yesterday with Suri, and we went to the lake and sat there for couple of hours.
It was so nice and cozy, definitely some quality time! Today I'm going to go to the lake again, this time together with Sheila.
On Sunday I'll be leaving for a drivers camp which goes 6 days, so during that time I will not be able to give any updates. Oh and by the way, I've lost the battery to my Nikon, and I have absolutely no clue where it is... And unfortunately, I won't have time to buy a new battery before I go to the States... ah that sucks.

Shopping In Zurich

I went with a friend of mine, who's also going to come to the same school that I'm in right now next year, into Zurich. First we went to Starbucks and then we must have spent over an hour in the Zara store, because - guess what! So much stuff was on sale! Ah holy cow it was like heaven!
This is what I bought;

Pumps - 59.90 CHF

Knitwear - 35.90 CHF

Trousers - 39.90 CHF

Bag - 29.90 CHF (!)
Probably the best purchase today!
A 50 % price reduction for such a lovely bag. This must have been my lucky day!

SUMMER BREAK

Five weeks of absolute freedom! No school, no homework, no projects, no nothing really.
Just a little driving camp and then the states for a couple of weeks. As already mentioned, I don't like the US so much, but now I'm still excited to go. And I've never been to North Carolina before, so maybe it's nice. I'm for sure going to give it a chance.

I'm extremely tired, I'm going to go to bed really early tonight! I'm going to try to be in bed by 9.30, hope it's doable. I have absolutely no plans for next week, no duties, which feels incredibly nice!

Up Down Up Down

Ah life's really messing with me at the moment. It's all just so confusing with everything! Anyway, I just got one more day of normal school, that being tomorrow, then on Wednesday I've got none, and Thursday it's "just" the exams in the morning. After that, I've finally got summer break! I need it so bad, especially lately since the past few weeks have been so intense. Academically and socially speaking.
I need a break from everything. Although I'm not too fond of the US, I'm still glad to get away for a couple of weeks.

1st July: June Flashback/Thoughts About Happiness

Wow, it's already July?
So far June's probably been the craziest month in my life. So much happened in those four weeks! The parties, the drama, the new acquaintances, the highs and the lows... June's been so eventful, and an absolute roller coaster concerning emotions. There were times where I seriously was in no doubt that I was the happiest human being on earth. There were also times though where I'd cry several times a day for a week and I just wanted to forget everything.

(What I've learnt during the month of June):
If you're suddenly starting to have a good time, there's always a price that you have to pay in some way to make up for it. Happiness needs to be equaled out by sadness/anger/(any negative emotion). Or at least that's what I think. Happiness has its price. It's not for free. I dare say that when you feel like everything's good in life, you can be certain that bad times are to follow.
Happiness doesn't stick to you. The harder you try to hold on to it, the faster it will leave you again. It comes as quickly as it goes. One needs to be prepared for that, or else life's just simply going to throw you over. That's what happened to me. And let me tell you, I went through hell last week emotionally. I wouldn't wish that upon anybody, so therefore, take my advice; don't take happiness for granted, and don't expect it to stay with you. Because it will leave you again, and it can sometimes take quite a while until it decides to return to you.

My Darling

Nathanja certainly is one of my dearest friends who knows pretty much everything about me and my life. Also, she's one of the few people who I can trust to the fullest. And I hope that she also knows that she can come and talk to me no matter what trouble she's in. I'll always be there for her. And she's absolutely gorgeous and beautiful.
